Members can expect coverage for funeral service expenses of up to CAD$6000, anywhere in the GTA. Funds will be paid directly to funeral service providers and cemeteries under this CMC benefit program.

  • A Member is a person who is registered with Canada Muslim Community and has paid the initial membership fee of CAD$200.
  • A Commitment Fee is the CAD$25.00 contribution fee that all members agree to pay towards the burial services whenever a Member passes away.
  • A Family is a unit that consists of parents and all their children under the age of 25 years. Anyone over 25 years of age should be registered separately.
  • Failure to pay the CAD$25.00 Commitment Fee for two consecutive deaths occurring, will lead to direct removal of the non-paying Member from Canada Muslim Community with no refund of the membership fee after which, Member will have to re-register by paying CAD$200 registration fee.
